Visitors of the LAF Commander

The Deputy Prime Minister, minister of National Defense Mr.Samir Moqbel visited the LAF Commander General Jean Kahwagi in his office in Yarzeh where they discussed the situation and different needs of the military insitution as well as the measures still being taken by the LAF in order to preserve the security of the municipal and governance elections in the country.
Moreover, LAF Commander General Jean Kahwagi received the Russian ambassador to Lebanon Mr. Alexander Zasepken, accompanied by the chargé d'affaires of the Russian military attaché Colonel Alexi Shmatov where they discussed the general situation in Lebanon and the region as well as the bilateral relations between both armies.
Furthermore, General Kahwagi received a delegation from the Greek Orthodox bishops abroad which included the Bishop of Mexico and Latin America Antoine Chedrawi, the Bishop of Canada and North America Joseph Zehlawi and the Bishop of Chile Sergio Abed. The delegation transfered the salutations and support of the Lebanese diasporas to the LAF and commended the major sacrifices offered in order to preserve Lebanon's unity, security and stability in this critical phase of its history.
