a Briefing about the General Directorate of Administration

The General Directorate of Administration was founded in accordance with decree number 3119 on the 14th of June 1980. Since then, the Directorate has been working on achieving administrative and logistic accomplishments in order to enable all institutions of the Ministry of National Defense to perform their required duties. It has also been developing up-to-date work methods in a way to guarantee the best results through putting forth future plans in coordination with different state administrations, which has a very positive impact on all levels, eventually reaching the desired new administration.  

 

The missions

The missions assigned to the General Directorate of Administration can be summed up by: working on providing the different needs of the institutions of the Ministry of National Defense and their necessary services as well as granting the necessary permits to participate in purchase deals for the army’s needs, setting the budget and observing its implementation, particularly surveying the use of monetary assets in those institutions while taking in consideration the instructions provided by his Excellency the Minister of National Defense based on the proposition of the military council.
