Directorate of Strategic Communication Planning
The Directorate of Strategic Communication Planning was established on January 6, 2022, with the aim of highlighting the positive image of the military institution and protecting its reputation to maintain the trust and support of both local and international communities. To achieve this goal, the Directorate unifies communication efforts and objectives within the military institution through a cohesive and coordinated network of proactive and effective communications. At its core are the information units that work together to garner and sustain public support for the mission.

Responsibilities of the Directorate of Strategic Communication Planning
A. Develop a unified short-term, medium-term, and long-term strategy for communication with both local (including expatriates) and international communities, enhancing partnerships and coordinating national military objectives with civil society activities by military doctrine.
B. Monitor the implementation of the communication strategy based on established timelines for action plans.
C. Establish principles, concepts, and foundations for evaluating and tracking the impact of the communication strategy on both local and international communities, adapting the strategy in response to evolving risks, challenges, and threats.
D. Create principles, concepts, and foundations for the operations of the Army Command, branches, and units involved in conveying its message to local and international communities.
E. Establish principles, concepts, and foundations for analyzing the constantly changing information environment, and formulate an information operations strategy.
F. Develop principles, concepts, and foundations for information operations, including planning, directing, coordinating, and synchronizing activities in the information domain.
G. Assess the impact of information operations plans on the target audience and make necessary adjustments.
Logo of the Directorate
The Directorate has adopted a logo that embodies its core missions, duties, and role in communication. The logo is designed as a shield that protects the reputation of the military institution and deflects hostile influences. It consists of three colors derived from gray, representing the Directorate's work across three dimensions: physical, virtual, and cognitive. Additionally, the lightning symbol signifies communication aimed at delivering effective messages and achieving impacts that serve the unified objectives of the command, represented by the circles at the center of the logo.
