Sad demise of retired Brigadier General P.S.C Ahmad al-Kaakour

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation declares the sad demise of retired Brigadier General P.S.C Ahmad al-Kaakour who passed away on 15/03/2021.

The following information presents a brief summary of his life and military career:

• Born on 01/07/1940 in Barja – Chouf.
• Enlisted in the Army on 01/10/1961 and rose through the ranks, starting as a lieutenant on 01/09/1964 and reached the rank of Brigadier General as of 01/07/1990.
• Received several medals and decorations as well as commendations and congratulations of the LAF Commander in chief several times.
• Followed several educational and training courses in Lebanon and abroad.
• Married with 4 children.

The funeral will take place on 16/03/2021 at 12:00 in Omar Bin Khatab Mosque in his town Baasir – Chouf, and the burial will take place in the new Baasir cemetery.
