Two individuals arrested in Cola – Beirut

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 29/10/2021, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate in Cola-Beirut arrested the citizen (M.J) and the Syrian (A.T) for belonging to a gang active in promoting narcotics and counterfeit currency, and seized a large amount of narcotics in their possession, packed and ready to be promoted, in addition to counterfeit banknotes.

The arrestees and the seized items were turned in to the competent judicial authorities, and follow-up is underway to arrest the rest of the gang members.
