RAIDS AND ARRESTS IN al zaytoun-Abou Samra Tripoli

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 17/09/2022, an army force carried out raids and searches for wanted people in Al Zaytoun-Abou Samra -Tripoli, with the support of the Air Force, which secured close reconnaissance.

The operation resulted the arrest of 5 wanted for robbing, drug and counterfeit currency trafficking, and picking clashes in the aforementioned area. They seized shooting guns, grenades, a quantity of drugs and a sum counterfeit currency.

The arrestees and the seized items were turned in to the competent judicial authorities.
