Inauguration of the new building of the Technical School in the Logistics Brigade, funded by the Canadian authorities, within the cooperation between the Lebanese and Canadian armies

The inauguration ceremony was held this morning for the new Technical School building in the Logistics Brigade, funded by the Canadian authorities, within the cooperation between the Lebanese and Canadian armies in the presence of the Canadian Ambassador to Lebanon Ms. Stefanie McCollum, the Lebanese Army Commander in Chief General Joseph Aoun, a number of officers and military attachés, and members of the Canadian training team.
During the ceremony, Ambassador McCollum affirmed her country's determination to continue supporting the Lebanese Army, pointing out the importance of its role in maintaining Lebanon's security and stability. She praised the professionalism of the officers and soldiers in performing their duties.
On the other hand, General Aoun expressed his thanks and appreciation for the interest shown by the Canadian authorities and the Canadian Army in helping Lebanon and the military institution to overcome the current difficult stage, stressing the importance of this project in enhancing the logistical capabilities of the army. He considered that the cooperation between the Lebanese and Canadian armies, which was embodied in the establishment of training centers, the provision of donations and equipment, and training courses for the various Army units army, reflected positively and contributed to developing the capabilities of the soldiers' skills in several domains.
General Aoun added: "There is no doubt that what we are facing today is very challenging, but our belief in the sanctity of the mission we are performing for our homeland, and the confidence of the citizens and the international community in us, is our motivation to continue. I assure you once again that the military institution is coherent. It will remain able to carry out its duty despite all challenges because protecting our homeland is our absolute priority."
