Two PUMA helicopters belonging to the Air Force have returned after completing a mission to support Greek authorities in extinguishing fires

The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 04/08/2023, two PUMA helicopters belonging to the Air Force landed at Hamat Air Base, after completing a mission to support Greek authorities in extinguishing fires over the past week.

The mission included surveillance patrols and firefighting sorties.

The Greek authorities held a ceremony to honor the military personnel who participated in this mission, as an appreciation for their efforts and professionalism.
