The arrest of two citizens for exchanging gunfire in the Tariq Al-Jadida area, and a Palestinian for possessing weapons

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 10 / 08 / 2023, a patrol from Intelligence Directorate supported by an army unit arrested the citizens (FB) and (YH) in the Tariq Al-Jadida area - Al-Burjawi Street for exchanging gunfire due to a dispute between them over financial matters. Another patrol from the directorate also arrested the Palestinian (SA) at the checkpoint of Al-Hesbeh - the entrance of Ain El-Helwe camp. A quantity of weapons and amount of ammunition in his possession were seized.

The seized items were handed over, and the investigation was initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
