Arrest of a citizen in Jord Mechmech – Akkar for shooting during a wedding ceremony and causing the death to a citizen

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 21/08/2023, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested in Jord Mechmech – Akkar the citizen (A.D.) for shooting during a wedding ceremony in Abi Samra – Tripoli on 19/08/2023, which led to the death of one of the citizens.

The investigation was initiated with the arrestee under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
