Army Completes Deployment in the Southern Litani Area, Expands Presence in the Eastern Sector

The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

Military units have deployed in the town of Deir Mimmas - Marjeyoun in the eastern sector and in other border areas of the Southern Litani region following the withdrawal of the Israeli enemy, in coordination with the Quintet Committee overseeing the ceasefire agreement (Mechanism).

The army continues to support citizens in border towns and maintains close coordination with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) regarding the situation in the mentioned area, within the framework of Resolution 1701.
