Raids and arrests, and the seizure of a large quantity of weapons and military ammunition

The LAF Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
A LAF unit, supported by a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate, raided the residences of several wanted individuals in Brital - Baalbek, and arrested the citizen (M.AA.) as he was wanted for shooting. A quantity of weapons and military ammunition were seized in his possession.
Another unit, supported by a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate, raided the residences of wanted individuals in the outskirts of Arsal, arresting the citizens (A.H.) and his brother (AA.H.) for trafficking in military weapons. Several shells and grenades were seized. Additionally, a large quantity of weapons and military ammunition were seized in Wadi Fara - the outskirts of Arsal.
The seized items were handed over, and investigations with the arrestees were initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
