Arrest of 31 Syrians at the Madfoun Checkpoint for Illegal Entry, and Two Syrians in Beirut for Various Crimes including Forming an Armed Robbery Gang

The LAF Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 4/7/2025, a LAF unit arrested 31 Syrian nationals at the Madfoun checkpoint – Batroun for entering Lebanese territory illegally.

Additionally, a patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence arrested two Syrian nationals, (AA.AA.) and (S.AA.), in the city of Beirut for forming an armed robbery gang, drug use, and illegal presence on Lebanese territory. A quantity of drugs and a military pistol were found in their possession.

The seized items were handed over, and the investigation with the detainees was initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authority.
