Arrest of 3 Citizens for Forming a Cell supporting ISIS, and Planning Attacks against the LAF

The LAF Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
As part of the surveillance and security pursuit of terrorist organizations, the Intelligence Directorate carried out a series of security operations, resulting in the arrest of citizens (A. S.), (W. S.), and (B. F.) for forming a cell that supports the ISIS terrorist organization. Initial investigations revealed that the cell was planning to carry out attacks against the LAF under the direction of leaders of the organization outside the country. Efforts are ongoing to arrest the remaining members of the cell.
The investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
