Operations to Raid and Arrest Individuals for Various Crimes, Including Drug Possession, Human, and Weapons Trafficking

The LAF Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

A unit from the LAF, supported by a patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence, conducted a raid in Brital – Baalbek and arrested the citizen (M.M.) and the Syrian (Z.AA.) for possessing a quantity of drugs. They also confiscated equipment used for counterfeiting money, a quantity of counterfeit currency, and military supplies.

Additionally, another unit arrested the citizen (A.D.) in the town of Shadra – Akkar for possessing military weapons and ammunition, seizing a quantity of them along with military equipment.

Moreover, a patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence in Hermel arrested the citizen (A.N.) for smuggling people and weapons across the Lebanese-Syrian border and for firing shots.

The confiscated items were handed over, and an investigation with the arrestees was initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
