Arrest of individuals for committing various crimes, including drug use, drug trafficking, and shooting

The LAF Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
 As part of the security measures implemented by the military institution, a LAF unit, supported by a patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence, raided the residences of wanted individuals in the towns of Jeb Jannine and Khiara – West Bekaa, and arrested citizens (AA.T.) and (W.F.) for shooting. Weapons and military ammunition were found in their possession.
Additionally, patrols from the Directorate of Intelligence arrested seven individuals as follows:
•    A raid was conducted on the residence of citizen (H.H.) in the town of Jlala – Bekaa, who was arrested for drug trafficking and shooting at a LAF patrol. Citizen (H.Z.) was also arrested for drug trafficking, while Syrians (W.K.) and (M.R.) were arrested for drug use and distribution, with a quantity of drugs found in their possession.
•    Citizen (AA.AA.) and Syrian national (H.N.) were arrested in Tabarja – Keserwan for drug use, trafficking, possession of drugs, and counterfeit currency. The latter was also arrested for illegally residing in Lebanese territory.
•    Citizen (AA.J.) was arrested in the Airport Road area for committing multiple crimes, including assaulting public and private property using firearms and shooting.
The seized items were handed over, and an investigation was initiated with the detainees under the supervision of the competent judicial authority.
