Raid on a Drug Manufacturing Lab in Yammouneh – Baalbek and Arrests in the Khaldeh and Aramoun Areas

The LAF Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
Within the framework of combating drug manufacturing and trafficking, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate, supported by a LAF unit, raided a drug manufacturing lab in Yammouneh – Baalbek. A large quantity of drugs was seized, along with raw materials used in their production, as well as weapons and military ammunition. The patrol also dismantled the lab equipment.
Within the framework of pursuing arms trafficking gangs, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate raided the residences of the citizen (AA.AA.Q.) in the Khaldeh area, arrested him, and seized a quantity of weapons in his possession. Following the investigation, the patrol raided a warehouse belonging to him in Aramoun – Bayader area and arrested the Syrians (Aa.H.), (AA.R.H.), (AA.A.), and (AA.J.) while they were transporting a large quantity of weapons, military ammunition, and sums of money.
The seized items were handed over, and investigation with the detainees was initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authority.
