Arrest of a Citizen Following a Clash in Al Mhamara – Akkar and Seizure of a Large Quantity of Weapons and Ammunition

The LAF Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

Following a clash that involved an exchange of fire on 14 September 2025 in Al Mhamara – Akkar, due to personal conflicts, a LAF unit, supported by a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate, raided the residences of those involved in the incident. The citizen (A.A.) was arrested, and a large quantity of weapons, ammunition, and military equipment was seized.

The confiscated items were handed over, and an investigation was initiated with the arrestee under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities. Efforts are ongoing to arrest the remaining individuals involved.
