The LAF pursues Security Violators and Drug Traffickers, Arrests 10 Individuals, and Seizes a Large Quantity of Weapons

The LAF Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
As part of the security measures carried out by the military institution in various regions, LAF units, each supported by an Intelligence Directorate patrol, conducted raids and arrested 8 individuals as follows:
•    Arrest of a citizen (Kh.F.) in Sir Al Dinniyeh – Dinniyeh, for opening fire.
•    Arrest of 6 citizens in Bakhoun – Dinniyeh, for opening fire and provoking clashes. Weapons and ammunition were seized in their possession.
•    Arrest of a citizen (M.L.) in Akkar Al Atiqah – Akkar, for opening fire and injuring a person. A weapon and ammunition were seized in his possession.
•    Raids on the residences of wanted individuals in Tabbaneh – Tripoli, following an altercation that escalated into an exchange of gunfire due to personal disputes. A large quantity of weapons and ammunition was seized, including several hand grenades.
In the context of monitoring drug manufacturing and trafficking operations, the Directorate of Intelligence raided the residences of the citizen (S.A.) in Yanooh - Jbeil, arresting him and seizing a large quantity of hashish, along with weapons and military ammunition.
The Directorate also raided the residences of wanted individuals in  Laylaki - southern suburbs (Dahiye Janoubiyeh) and arrested the citizen (M.H.) for forming a network for drug trafficking and promotion, seizing a large quantity of drugs in his possession.
During the raid, LAF personnel were subjected to gunfire and responded in kind without any injuries reported. The seized items were handed over, and investigations with the arrested individuals were initiated under the supervision of the relevant judicial authorities.
