LAF Raids in Dar Al Wassaa – Baalbek, Killing One of the Most Wanted Individuals

The LAF Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On 26/9/2025, and as part of a series of security operations to pursue dangerous wanted individuals, LAF units, supported by the Intelligence Directorate, carried out raids in the town of Dar Al Wassaa – Baalbek, to arrest several wanted individuals, among them citizen (H.J.), who is wanted for multiple crimes, including: opening fire at LAF posts and patrols and killing soldiers, forming gangs for arms and drug trafficking, kidnapping for ransom, armed robbery, and shooting incidents.
During the raids, the aforementioned wanted individual, along with others, opened fire at the LAF personnel, wounding several soldiers. The troops responded in kind, which resulted in his death.
An investigation was initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities, while efforts continue to arrest the remaining wanted individuals.
