The Lebanese army monitors one of the most dangerous drug dealers and arrests him after he opened fire on a patrol of the internal security forces

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On October 13, 2025, as a result of precise security monitoring and surveillance of the citizen (H.Y.), one of the most dangerous wanted individuals for drug trafficking and promotion, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate was able to arrest the suspect. This followed an incident on October 12, 2025, in Saadiyat, where he opened fire on a patrol of the internal security forces, injuring three of its members, two of whom are in critical condition. It was found that he was injured during the exchange of gunfire with the aforementioned internal security forces patrol and was transferred to a hospital for treatment.

In previous years, the arrested individual had participated with other wanted individuals in the trafficking of large quantities of drugs and their promotion in various regions of Lebanon.
