Raid and Arrest of Two Syrians in the Marj – West Beqaa and Bar Elias – Zahle Areas, and Seizure of Weapons, Ammunition, and Narcotics

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
A patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence raided one of the Syrian refugee camps in the Marj – West Beqaa area and arrested the Syrian national (A.Ch.), in whose possession were found a military weapon, a quantity of ammunition, Captagon pills, and counterfeit money.
Another patrol from the same directorate raided the residence of the Syrian national (J.Q.) in the Bar Elias – Zahle area and arrested him for assaulting a patrol belonging to the Directorate on 10/6/2025 in the Tabarja – Keserwan area. Weapons and military ammunition were also seized in his possession.
The seized items were handed over, and an investigation was initiated with the detainees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
