Army Pursues Gunmen, Drug Dealers, and Public Security Offenders in the Bekaa and South Regions

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

The Army continues to pursue gunmen, drug traffickers, and those who disrupt public security. In this context, an Army unit in Sharawneh – Baalbek arrested citizen (AA.J.), wanted for shooting and drug trafficking, and seized a large quantity of drugs along with live ammunition.

Additionally, an Army unit, supported by a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate, arrested citizens (Sh.A.), (AA.AA.), and (H.A.) in Zrarieh – Tyre for their involvement in an incident that included the discharge of firearms.

A patrol from the Intelligence Directorate also arrested citizen (AA.F.) in Arsal – Baalbek for possession of a large quantity of shells, weapons, and live ammunition.

All seized items were handed over, and the investigation with the detainees was initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
