The Lebanese Army Conducts Large-Scale Raids in Al Sharawneh Neighborhood – Baalbek and Arrests Several Wanted Individuals

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

As part of the ongoing pursuit of wanted individuals, security violators, and drug traffickers, an Army unit, supported by a patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence, carried out large-scale raids in Al Sharawneh Neighborhood in Baalbek. It arrested the citizens (N.J.) and (AA.J.), as well as the Syrians (AA.S.), (B.M.), and (AA.K.), for previously opening fire on Army patrols, and for drug and weapons trafficking. A quantity of drugs and military weapons was also seized.

The seized items were handed over, and an investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
