The Army carries out extensive security measures in Al Sharawneh – Baalbek

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

The Army carried out extensive security measures in Al Sharawneh – Baalbek as part of its campaign to combat drug trafficking and apprehend those disturbing public order. In this context, an Army unit arrested the wanted individuals (H.J.), (H.J.), and (M.Z.) for possessing weapons and military ammunition, and also seized a quantity of narcotics in the possession of the latter.

The seized items were handed over, and an investigation was launched with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
