Arrest of two citizens in Lailaki – Southern Suburb (Dahyeh Janoubieh) and Bejdarfel – Batroun as part of efforts to combat drug trafficking and pursue security offenders

As part of efforts to combat drug trafficking and pursue individuals disrupting security, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested the citizen (H.Z.) in  Lailaki - the Southern Suburb (Dahyeh Janoubieh)  for committing several crimes, including forming an armed gang involved in theft, robbery, and drug trafficking, opening fire on an Army patrol, and possessing a military-grade handgun.

In addition, an Army unit supported by a patrol from the same directorate raided the residence of the citizen (R.Z.) in Bejdarfel - Batroun and arrested him for possessing military weapons and ammunition.

The seized items were handed over, and investigations with the arrestees were initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
