Raid Operations, Arrests, and Seizure of Drugs and Military Weapons

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

Military units continue to carry out their missions across various Lebanese regions to arrest wanted individuals and those disrupting security. In this context, an Army unit raided the residences of wanted individuals in the Dora–Hermel area and arrested a Lebanese citizen (H.H.) for opening fire at an individual and injuring him, as well as for drug trafficking. A quantity of hashish, Captagon pills, military weapons and ammunition, in addition to military equipment, were seized in his possession.

Additionally, a patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence arrested a Lebanese citizen (A.J.) in the Dora–Hermel area for committing several crimes, including drug trafficking. A quantity of drugs and military weapons, in addition to military equipment, were seized in his possession.

Another patrol from the Directorate also arrested a Lebanese citizen (M.J.) in the Ras Al Ain–Baalbek area for trafficking military weapons, seizing a large quantity of such weapons in his possession.

The seized items were handed over, and investigations with the arrestees were initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
