Citizens arrested for Committing Various Crimes Including Shooting and Injuring a Person, and Drug Use and Trafficking

The Army Command– Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

As part of the security measures carried out by the military institution to pursue individuals disrupting security across various Lebanese regions, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested two citizens (Y.M.) and (AA.T.), in Haret Hreik and Hay El Sellom – Southern Suburb (Dahye Janoubiye) for committing various crimes, including shooting and injuring an individual, drug use and trafficking, and trading in military weapons. Authorities seized a quantity of drugs and two military pistols in their possession.

Another patrol from the Directorate arrested the citizen (A.S.) in Maameltein – Jounieh for drug trafficking. A large quantity of drugs and a military pistol was seized in his possession.

The seized items were handed over, and the investigation with the detainees was initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authority.
