Visitors of the Lebanese Army Commander-in-Chief

The Lebanese Army Commander-in-Chief, General Rodolph Haykal, received in his office in Yarzeh the Qatari Ambassador to Lebanon, Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, and they discussed the general situation and developments during the sensitive phase that Lebanon and the region are going through. He also received the Chargé d’Affaires of the Syrian Embassy in Lebanon, Iyad Al Hazzaa, and they reviewed ways to enhance coordination between the army and the relevant Syrian authorities during the current stage.

Additionally, he met with Members of Parliament William Tawk and Tony Frangieh, with whom he discussed internal affairs in light of the rapidly evolving challenges facing the country. The two MPs emphasized the importance of the army’s role in maintaining internal stability and praised the sacrifices made by military personnel.
