Army Arrests Citizens for Forming a Counterfeit Currency Trafficking Gang and for Drug Use

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

The Intelligence Directorate arrested the Lebanese citizens (GH.AA.), (H.D.), and (J.KH.) in Hazmieh–Baabda and Hrajel–Keserwan for forming a ring involved in the circulation of counterfeit currency and for drug use. A quantity of drugs and an amount of counterfeit money were seized in their possession.

The seized items were handed over to the competent authorities, and the investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authority.
