The Army Arrests a Citizen for Throwing a Hand Grenade and Instigating a Clash in Maghdoucheh - Saida

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
Further to the statement issued on May 26, 2026, regarding the arrest of several individuals involved in clashes in Maghdoucheh – Saida on May 25, 2026, and following extensive investigations and continuous monitoring, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate conducted a raid in Beirut and arrested the Lebanese citizen (Q.M.).The suspect is the instigator of the aforementioned clashes, during which he threw a hand grenade at some citizens.
He is also wanted for committing several crimes, including kidnapping, arms trafficking, and the use and distribution of hashish.
The investigation was initiated with the arrestee under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities, while efforts are ongoing to apprehend the remaining individuals involved.
