Israeli occupation forces continue their attacks and violations of the existing understandings and international laws, while the Army continues to carry out its missions in the South

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
Israeli occupation forces continue to carry out attacks and violations of the existing understandings and international laws, through the systematic destruction and demolition of homes, shelling, and machine-gun fire in several southern areas, including Kfartebnit – Nabatieh, Hadatha and Kounine – Bint Jbeil, Ebl Saki river, Khiam, Mansouri, Byout Al Siyad, and Majdelzoun – Tyre. The violations also included the seizure of rubble in border areas, the destruction of the Litani River Authority’s water project in Markaba – Marjaayoun, and the burning of olive trees and vast agricultural areas, most recently on the outskirts of Aytaroun – Bint Jbeil. These actions were accompanied by gunfire near Army positions in Kfartebnit, Nabatieh Al Fawqa, and Zawtar Al Gharbiyeh, obstructing the Army’s efforts to carry out its missions.
Meanwhile, the Army continues to facilitate the return of residents to the town of Zawtar Al Gharbiyeh and is carrying out its missions to ensure the safety of its citizens, as well as in the areas of Froun and Srifa, in coordination with the Military Coordination Group for Lebanon (MCG4L), while continuing to perform its missions across other southern areas.
The continuation of these attacks is hindering the completion of the Army’s deployment in accordance with the existing understandings, preventing residents from returning to their villages and towns, and obstructing efforts to restore stability in the South.
