The Army Commander-in-Chief Addresses Troops during His visit of Military Units Deployed in the Bekaa and While Offering Condolences to the Families of Fallen Soldiers: “You Are the Decisive Factor in the Lebanese Equation”

The Lebanese Army Commander-in-Chief, General Rodolph Haykal, visited the Third Infantry Brigade in Jib Jannine – Western Bekaa and the Third Land Border Regiment in Aita al Foukhar – Rashaya, where he was briefed on the operational situation and the missions carried out within their area of responsibility.
During a meeting with officers and soldiers, the Army Commander expressed his appreciation for their efforts, addressing them as follows: “The difficult missions you carry out cannot be measured in terms of material compensation, but rather by the security and stability they bring to various regions.”
General Haykal also stressed that the institution’s objective is to serve the nation and preserve its unity, irrespective of any other considerations. He also referred to the soldiers the institution has lost as a result of attacks carried out by the Israeli occupation.
He concluded by saying: “You are the decisive factor in the Lebanese equation, because the resilience of the nation depends on your success and on the confidence the Lebanese people place in you.”
The Army Commander also offered his condolences to the families of the fallen soldiers, noting that their sacrifices make the institution stronger, more determined, and more steadfast.
