Army Commander-in-Chief Receives U.S. General Joseph Clearfield, Head of the Military Coordination Group for Lebanon (MCG4L)

Army Commander-in-Chief General Rodolph Haykal received U.S. General Joseph Clearfield, Head of the Military Coordination Group for Lebanon (MCG4L) accompanied by a delegation at his office in Yarzeh.

The meeting focused on developments in southern Lebanon and the security arrangements related to the Framework Agreement, as well as the challenges facing the Lebanese Army as it carries out its missions, particularly the continued Israeli attacks, land-clearing operations, and destruction.

Both sides also stressed the importance of supporting the Lebanese Army in view of the missions it is undertaking in southern Lebanon and across the country.
