Army Arrests Arms Smuggler, Seizes Rocket-Propelled Projectiles at the Lebanese-Syrian Border, and Arrests 10 Syrians Involved in an Altercation in Shaat – Baalbek

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

An Army unit arrested a Syrian at the Lebanese-Syrian border in Aiha – Rashaya while he was attempting to smuggle a quantity of rocket-propelled projectiles into Lebanese territory. The projectiles were seized.

Another Army unit arrested 10 Syrians in Shaat – Baalbek for their involvement in an altercation inside one of the camps in the town.

The seized items were handed over to the competent authorities, and an investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
