Shooters Involved in Qab Elias – Zahle Clash Arrested by the Army

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On September 21, 2026, an armed clash occurred in Qab Elias – Zahle, resulting in several injuries. Following the incident, Army units conducted raids in the area and arrested three of the shooters. A quantity of weapons and military ammunition was also seized.

Efforts are ongoing to arrest the remaining individuals involved.

The seized items were handed over, and an investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
