Army Arrests Drug-Trafficking Gang Leader in Hor Taala – Baalbek Following Security Surveillance Operation

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On 24/9/2026, following a security surveillance operation, a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate raided the home of the wanted individual (H.M.) in Hor Taala – Baalbek and arrested him. He is the leader of a gang involved in drug trafficking and is also wanted for crimes including theft, robbery, and opening fire.
A large quantity of drugs intended for distribution was seized in his possession, along with weapons and military ammunition.
The seized items were handed over to the relevant authorities, and the investigation with the detainee was initiated under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
