Receipt of vehicles under U.S. assistance programs for the Army

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

On September 29, 2026, 47 Humvee vehicles and 5 trucks were received at the Port of Beirut as part of U.S. assistance programs designated for the Lebanese Army. This donation is part of the U.S. authorities’ support for the military institution, with the aim of enhancing its operational capabilities and increasing the readiness of its units.

The initiative also reflects the confidence of the U.S. authorities in the Army’s role in maintaining security and stability in Lebanon.
