Lebanese Army Destroys Approximately 60 Dunams of Hashish Cultivation in Al Knayseh – Baalbek and Arrests 17 Workers

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

A Lebanese Army unit destroyed approximately 60 dunams of land cultivated with cannabis plants in the town of Al Knayseh – Baalbek. The unit also arrested 17 Syrian workers who lacked legal documentation and seized equipment used for harvesting Hashish in their possession.

The seized items were handed over to the relevant authorities, and an investigation was initiated with the arrestees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
