The Army Implements Security Measures in Several Areas: Tripoli, Halba, Al Bireh and Al Arida – Akkar; Khaldeh and Choueifat – Aley; and Naameh, Rmeileh, Saadiyat and Damour – Chouf

The Lebanese Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
Army units carried out security measures to maintain public order in the following areas: Tripoli, Halba, Al Bireh and Al Arida in Akkar; Khaldeh and Choueifat in Aley; and Naameh, Rmeileh, Saadiyat and Damour in Chouf.
The measures included deploying motorized and foot patrols, as well as setting up temporary checkpoints, in order to pursue wanted individuals and apprehend those involved in security disturbances.
