Arrests in Majdel Anjar and the confiscation of explosives and ammunition

The Army Headquarters - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement: 

A force from the Intelligence Directorate raided in Majdel Anjar the residence of Omar Hassan Kharoub, accused of providing weapons and explosives for the sake of his fugitive brother Radwan, belonging to the battalions of Abdallah Azzam and the main accused of executing several explosions, the last of them being the Tayyoune explosion on 20/06/2014 and Dahr el Baydar explosion on 23/06/2014. The arrested individual Omar was arrested and the intelligence forces found in his residence a large number of ammunition, explosives and an anti-aircraft missile.

The arrested individual was turned in along with the confiscated items to the competent authorities and investigations were carried out.
