The death of the mastermind behind the explosion operation that took place in Ras Baalbeck

The Army Headquarters – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
In light of the security information and while executing the army executed the preemptive plan leading to the raid of Ersal camps in on 30/06/2017, an intelligence directorate raided this morning a terrorist group entrenched in Ersal that was preparing to execute terrorist operations. While the members of the terrorist group attempted to resist the patrol, the troops confronted them, leading to the death of Syrian terrorist Yasser el Ghawi and Atef el Jaroudi as well as arresting 3 others. Moreover, 7 bombs set for detonation, an explosive belt and 50 Kgs of material used in narcotics manufacturing as well as several hand grenades and detonators were confiscated.
It is worth mentioning that terrorist Ghawi is the mastermind behind the explosion operation that took place in Ras Baalbeck on 22/05/2017.
