Funeral of the martyr soldiers who were honored in the commemoration held at the Ministry of Defense’s Yard
The Army Command declared the martyrdom of the soldiers who were honored at the eulogy prepared at the yard of the Ministry of Defense this morning. The eulogy was headed by His Excellency the President of the Republic and the martyrs who were honored were: martyr First Adjutant Ibrahim Samir Mghayt – martyr First Corporal Ali Zeid el-Masri – martyr First Corporal Moustapha Ali Wehbe – martyr first soldier Seif Hasan Dhebian – martyr first soldier Mohammad Hussein Youssef – martyr soldier Khaled Mokbel Hasan – martyr soldier Hussein Mahmoud Mahmoud Ammar – martyr soldier Ali Youssef el-Hajj Hasan – martyr soldier Abbas Ali Medlej – martyr soldier Yehya Mohmmad Ali Khodor. Martyr First Adjutant Ibrahim Samir Mghayt:
- Born on 22/7/1981 in Qalamoun – Tripoli
- Enlsited in the Army on 3/11/2000
- Medals: Military Appreciation – Fighting Terrorism – Lebanese Merit of forth Degree Bronze – commendation of the Armed Forces Commander 5 times, congratulation of the Armed Forces Commander 7 times and congratulation of Brigade Commander 6 times

- Promoted to a higher rank following his martyrdom and received the following medals: Medal of War – the Wounded – Military Appreciation and commendation of the Armed Forces Commander.
The body of the martyr will be transported following the honoring ceremony from the Ministry of Defense yard to the town of Qalamoun – Tripoli where the funeral will be held at 18:00 and the burial will take place in the cemetery of the town.

Martyr First Corporal Ali Zeid el-Masri

- Services in the Army extended starting 24/5/2005 then transferred to active service starting 4/9/2006.
- Medals: Fighting Terrorism – Military Appreciation –– commendation of the Armed Forces 5 times, congratulation of the Armed Forces Commander 4 times, congratulation of the Armed Forces Commander 4 times and congratulation of Brigade Commander on one occasion.
