The Armed Forces Commander held a meeting with the command staff and commanders of major units and independent regiments

The Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun held a meeting in Yarzeh with the command staff and commanders of major units and independent regiments where he highlighted the local and regional developments as well as the situation of the military institution and provided them with the necessary directives.

General Aoun stressed that the operation measures should be intensified in order to preserve the security of citizens and their properties in different Lebanese regions, particularly during the Holidays. Moreover, the LAF Commander stressed that the recent crisis in Occupied Palestine calls for further vigilance in order to tackle the possible repercussions as well as complete preparedness at the southern border and on the inside in order to confront any Israeli assault or any security breach. General Aoun also stated that this additional effort required from the Army must go in parallel with the preemptive operations against terrorist cells and fighting all kinds of organized crime.
