The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

individual altercation in Sarba – Jounieh and death of a citizen

An individual altercation broke out on this day in Sarba – Jounieh and turned into a fight that led to the death of the citizen Khaled Akkari due to a heavy blow with a sharp object on the head.

A Lebanese army unit headed directly to the location of the incident and cordoned off the area and restored order in addition to arresting the perpetrators.

The arrested individuals were turned in to the relevant authorities in order to take the necessary measures.
