The raid ended in Hamoudiye and wanted Ali Zeid Ismail killed

The Army Headquarters – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

Following its previous statement, related to an army force performing a raid in Hamoudiye – Britel, LAF units finished the operation that resulted in the arrest of 16 Lebanese and 25 Syrians and the death of 8, mainly Ali Zeid Ismail , wanted for 2941 arrest warrants and search and investigation warrants and sentences and for committing crimes such as trafficking narcotics, arms and combat ammunition as well as armed cars robbery and forging documents in addition to opening fire towards citizens and injuring a few and attempting to kill soldiers and opening fire towards patrols of security bureaus and injuring the troops.

The arrested individuals were turned in to the relevant authorities and investigations were carried out.
