Syrian Ali Batha turned in to the relevant authorities

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

The Intelligence directorate turned in to the relevant authorities Syrian Ahmad Ali Batha, AKA “Abou Ali el Daraoui” or “Abou Ali el Kimawi” for being a member of terrorist organizations that were in Ersal and its surroundings, as well as participating in assaulting LAF units in 2014. Batha is considered one of the most dangerous explosives experts in the group of fugitive Syrian Firas Fawaz el Qassem, AKA “Abou Jaafar el Qastalani”, responsible for rigging numerous vehicles detonated in Lebanon, leading to the martyrdom and injury of several citizens and soldiers. The latter was assigned by “el Qastalani” to target an individual in Ersal with a bomb. Electronic equipment and substance for the manufacturing of explosives were confiscated.
