The LAF seized a large cache of marijuana in Bouday – the Bekaa and arrest of suspects

The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

An Intelligence Directorate patrol raided on this dawn the residence of (A.Z) in the town of Bouday – the Bekaa and arrested him for the crime of producing marijuana. The patrol troops uncovered in the perimeter of the residence a drug lab for the production of marijuana and the production tools in addition to a quantity weighing around 5 tons of ready to use marijuana, military weapons and different ammunition as well as 3 vehicles lacking proper documents. The patrol troops destroyed around twenty tons of drug hay, noting that (A.Z) is wanted according to several warrants of arrest for committing different crimes (murder and shooting)

The perpetrator and the seized item were handed over to the relevant authorities and investigation is in process under the supervision of the relevant judiciary authorities.
