1 Private martyred and another injured after an army checkpoint was targeted in Donniyeh

The Army Headquarters - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement: 

Yesterday, armed individuals opened fire using combat weapons towards an army checkpoint in BekaaSafrine – Donniye, leading to the injury of 2 soldiers and one of them later martyred, succumbing to his injuries.

Army units deployed in the region are executing search operations and raids in order to locate the perpetrators and arrest them.
