2 individuals arrested and a large amount of ammunition seized in Janaam – Chebaa

The Army Headquarters – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

In the frame of security procedures in different Lebanese regions, particularly borderline regions, an intelligence directorate patrol arrested yesterday in Janaam - Chebaa a yellow Hino pick up truck, conducted by K.A, accompanied by Z.A where a large amount of different ammunition was seized. The mentioned ammunition was smuggled from Syria to Lebanon through Chebaa outskirts.

Investigation was carried out under the supervision of the relevant authorities.
